About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Geothermal Monitoring Technician to join our Reservoir Chemistry team. This role is central to carrying out geothermal sampling, surface measurements, and environmental monitoring across geothermal fields. You’ll undertake field‑based monitoring activities, collect high‑quality data, and ensure accurate input, analysis, and reporting to support geothermal operations.
In this role, you will:
Carry out geothermal sampling, surface measurements, and environmental monitoring
Take responsibility for monitoring tasks, including client communication and timely reporting
Input, analyse, and interpret technical data
Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement of operational systems
Service, maintain, and calibrate monitoring tools, plant, and equipment
Work within company policies, procedures, and quality frameworks (including ISO 9001)
Support health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.

About You
You’ll bring a strong interest in science and fieldwork, along with the ability to work confidently in a small, supportive team. You’ll be someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on tasks, takes pride in accurate data collection, and can balance independent work with good communication and teamwork.
What You’ll Bring
A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Environmental Science
Some field experience — an advantage but not essential
A technically minded approach with strong problem‑solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting
The ability to self‑manage, plan your work, and meet deadlines
Confidence working outdoors on geothermal sites
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a small team
