Joining our Indonesian team will see you at the heart of our international growth, working across the scope of MB Century’s products and services. Primarily focussed on the geothermal energy sector this could include power generation and upstream services. This role will be based out of Jakarta.
The Role:
At the centre of this role is driving business growth and developing our market presence in Indonesia. You’ll be:
- Developing local sales and marketing strategies to achieve company growth targets
- Fostering strong client relationships across their business
- Visiting power stations to identify key influencers and understand operational challenges
- Developing a strong technical understanding of all of our service offerings
- Tailoring proposals to meet customer needs with support from the NZ based team and conducting technical presentations
- Managing client service agreements, vendor approvals and post-sales delivery to ensure client satisfaction
- Conducting ongoing market and competitor analysis
You:
You will be a natural at establishing strong, long-term relationships and comfortable promoting technical solutions in operational environments.
Tertiary qualified with a background in technical sales or application engineering and ideally with comprehensive understanding of the geothermal energy sector, you’ll also demonstrate:
- Strong understanding of engineering principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Relationship sales approach with proven ability to influence decisions and negotiate a sales close
- Knowledge to apply technical solutions to problems with a focus on core expertise
- Ability to identify potential areas for diversification from client insights
- Confidence to seek constructive feedback and able to convert to positive actions
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
